Hey, I’m Sylvia, and I currently live in Edmonton, AB. I am a Polish immigrant turned Canadian with no formal education in Social Media. My background is actually in Economic Technology. When I am not parenting my 8-year-old daughter/roommate Stella or working full time, you can find me SOMEWHERE on a trail. Unless it’s snowing, then I am skiing. I love chasing lake reflections, wildflowers and evergreen carpeted meadows. I thoroughly enjoy exploring the gentle beauty of the Canadian Rockies, and there is nowhere else I would rather be than in nature. So in the world of crazy, get outside and follow along!
Thousands of tired , nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigation rivers, but as fountains of life. – John Muir
